Duping of Indian Nationals Residing Abroad by Fraudsters

It has been brought to the notice of the Indian authorities that the Indian nationals residing abroad are duped by the fraudsters who impersonate themselves as officers of Indian Missions/Posts. These fraudsters also spoof the contact numbers of Indian Missions/Posts abroad.

2. In order to crack down on the perpetrators, victims of such fraudulent acts are requested to come forward and share as much information as possible to this Embassy.
