Embassy of India, Khartoum in collaboration with National Investment Authority (NIA) of the Government of Sudan organized an India-Sudan Business Meet on March 02, 2020 at Al Salam Hotel, Khartoum, to discuss promotion of bilateral economic relations, especially bilateral trade and investment. The Chief Guest at the event was Ms. Hanan Misnad, Secretary General of NIA. The event was attended by leading corporate houses and businesspersons in Sudan who shared their views on ways forward in promoting and diversifying trade and investment between India and Sudan and strengthening the bilateral relations overall. There was a large presence of visual and print media as well. As is known, India is one of the largest economic partners of Sudan and there are efforts all the times by the two sides to further enhance the bilateral trade and investment ties. The Embassy wishes to thank all the attendees and the friends of India for making the event successful and for their well wishes.
