Celebration of Hindi Diwas
The Embassy of India, Khartoum celebrated Hindi Diwas on 17 September 2022 at India House.
On this Occasion H.E. Ambassador of India Mr. B. S. Mubarak addressed the gathering which saw enthusiast participation of prominent members of Indian diaspora, NRIs, PIOs, Hindi lovers and Sudanese Friends of India.
The programme started with the screening of video messages on the occasion of Hindi Diwas from Hon’ble Minister of External Affairs, Shri S. Jaishankar and Minister of State for External Affairs, Smt. Meenakshi Lekhi. The programme also included recital of Hindi poems, singing Hindi songs, Indian classical music, speeches and sharing of experiences in Hindi.
A large number of young children from Indian diaspora also attended the event and participated with their poems and speeches. The participants were presented with gifts and prizes.
