Embassy of India hosted a reception on 20 February 2023 at India House for the 45 Sudanese Government officials from the Ministries .
Embassy of India hosted a reception on 20 February 2023 at India House for the 45 Sudanese Government officials from the Ministries of Cabinet Affairs, Finance & Economic Planning, Foreign Affairs, Interior, Ministry of Industry and Trade who have been selected for the two customized ITEC Scholarship courses:
(i) Networking Data Centre & Security – 23.02.2023 to 22.03.2023 at C-DAC, Mohali, Chandigarh
(ii) Effective Communication Skills for Business and Office purpose - 22.2.2023 to 7.3.2023 at Lovely Professional University, Punjab
Both Customized ITEC courses will be held in Punjab. Dr. Babiker Ali Elkhair, Acting Secretary-General in the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs attended the event as the Chief guest. During his address, Dr. Babiker praised the development achieved in India and appreciated the gesture of Government of India in assisting Sudan in capacity building.
Ambassador Mr. B.S. Mubarak gave presentation on ITEC courses and briefed about the leading capacity building platform of the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India. Instituted in 1964, ITEC is one of the oldest institutionalized arrangements for international capacity building. More than 200,000 people from 160+countries have benefitted from ITEC programme.
