Ambassador Mr. B.S. Mubarak visited Sudan University of Science and Technology (SUST).
On Monday 06.03.2023 Ambassador Mr. B.S. Mubarak visited Sudan University of Science and Technology (SUST) where he was welcomed by its President, Prof. Eissa Bashier and other faculty members of SUST.
Prof. Eissa briefed Ambassador about the University including its ranking as one of the leading academic organizations in Sudan and its various faculties, colleges and institutes. Pof. Eissa highlighted the unique faculties in SUST (Fine Arts and Music & Drama). During the interactions several areas of potential cooperation between India and Sudan were discussed.
Ambassador traced the history of Indo-Sudani bilateral academic relations and the role played by India in training and education of youth in Sudan. He also answered various inquiries related to the ICCR and ITEC scholarships. Ambassador concluded the visit by a tour to the Faculty of Fine Arts where he met several students.
