On Wednesday 01 March 2023, Ambassador Mr. B.S. Mubarak visited University of Khartoum where he was welcomed by Prof. Imadeldin E. Aradaib President of the University along with his Deputy Vice chancellor Prof Ahmed M. Musa and Prof. Ali Alsayed the Secretary General of the Sudanese Universities Association and Dr Hisham Salah from IGAD Council of Higher Education and other dignitaries.
Prof. Aradaib briefed Ambassador about the heritage of University of Khartoum and its various colleges, faculties and institutes in addition to its position as leading University in the IGAD Council of Higher Education. Furthermore, he shared his thoughts about the opportunities to collaborate between University of Khartoum and Indian Universities.
Ambassador briefly traced Sudan- India relations and narrated the 75 Years of India's Development story, about India’s culture, educational system, technological advancements and how Sudan and India can share their experiences to foster academic cooperation. He also responded to various queries on ITEC & ICCR scholarships.
