Cycling event to celebrate Azadi Ka Amrit Mahatsov

As part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, the Embassy of India, Khartoum in collaboration with the Sudanese Cycling Federation organized a ‘Cycling Event’ on 12 March 2022 at 0900 hrs on Nile Street which saw the participation of cycling professionals, Sudanese nationals and staff members of the Embassy.

In his remarks Ambassador thanked all the participants and congratulated the winners. Ambassador mentioned that cycling is an eco-friendly mode of transport and should be promoted in all countries by use of special lanes.

The event was attended by Mr. Salah Mohammed Alhassan, Director General of Information, Ministry of Youth and Sports, Mr. Tarig Giha, President of the Sudanese Cycling Federation.
