The 74th Independence Day of India was celebrated by the Mission with grandeur, gaiety, fervor and enthusiasm at the Embassy Residence on 15th August, 2020. Due to spread of COVID-19 pandemic and extant guidelines to follow preventive measures, the event was organised on a small scale. There was live streaming of the prgramme through Mission’s Facebook page for Indian nationals and friends of India to follow from their homes/work places. On this occasion, other events like Patriotic Essay Competition, Singing of Patriotic Songs, Online Quiz competition etc. were also organized online by the Mission.
