Routes 2 Roots, in collaboration with the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), has launched the Global Language Readiness Programme for ICCR Scholarship Aspirants 2027–28, comprising an Advanced English Learning Course and a Spoken Hindi Course. The programme is scheduled to commence on 19 October 2026 and will be conducted through live online interactive classes.

The programme has been designed to help international students strengthen their English language proficiency for academic success, including preparation for internationally recognized examinations such as IELTS and TOEFL, while also developing practical Hindi communication skills for daily life and cultural engagement in India. The initiative aims to enhance participants' academic readiness and facilitate a smoother transition for students planning to pursue higher education opportunities in India.

The course is open to foreign nationals with basic English language skills (reading, writing, and speaking). Each class will be of 90 minutes' duration, with sessions scheduled from 23:30 hrs to 01:00 hrs (IST) on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and 12:30 hrs to 14:00 hrs (IST) on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. The course fee is US$50.

The programme may be particularly beneficial for students interested in exploring future academic opportunities in India, including the ICCR Scholarship Programme 2027–28, and for those seeking to enhance their language skills in preparation for higher studies.
