Invitation to Participate in the International Shivratri Fair 2026 – Himachal Pradesh, India.

The Embassy of India, Khartoum (Camp: Port Sudan) is pleased to share that the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) has invited international cultural troupes to participate in the upcoming International Shivratri Fair 2026, being organized by the Government of the State of Himachal Pradesh from 16 to 21 February 2026 at District Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, India.

The International Shivratri Fair is an annual cultural event showcasing India’s rich cultural heritage through cultural nights, stage performances, art exhibitions, and other artistic activities. Artists from various countries participate each year, making the Fair an important platform for international cultural exchange.

As part of the programme, international cultural troupes, preferably in the field of classical or folk dance and music, are invited to present performances during the cultural nights scheduled from 18 to 21 February 2026.

As per the applicable terms and conditions, the Indian side will consider extending entry visas and local hospitality, including accommodation, meals, local and internal transportation, as well as expenses related to the organization of the programme, including venue, technical arrangements, and publicity. International airfare, medical insurance, and any performance fees, if applicable, shall be borne by the participating troupe or the sending side.

Interested cultural troupes are requested to submit the following details for consideration:

·         Name of the group (for invitation card and publicity material)

·         Total number of artists in the group (male and female members separately)

·         Performance links (YouTube links or video clips)

·         Contact details of the group leader

·         List of group members with passport details (scans of first and last pages; may be submitted later if not immediately available)

·         High-resolution performance photographs (JPG format)

·         Synopsis of the performance with duration (Word file)

·         Brief write-up on the group/performers (Word file)

·         Technical requirements (lighting, sound, stage, etc.)
