The Second edition of Seafood Expo Bharat (SEB 2026)

Marine Products Export Development Authority (MPEDA) is organising the second edition of Seafood Expo Bharat (SEB 2026) at the Chennai Trade Centre, Chennai, from 01 to 03 July 2026.

Seafood Expo Bharat 2026 (SEB 2026) is Asia’s premier annual seafood expo, serving as a global platform for Indian seafood producers, processors, exporters, international buyers, hatchery operators, aqua farmers, feed manufacturers, aquaculture/seafood processing machinery suppliers, input manufacturers, technology providers, government agencies, researchers, and industry innovators to showcase, explore, and collaborate.

The Expo will provide wide opportunities to discover advancements in aquaculture production, processing, traceability, quality, and sustainability, while forging meaningful trade partnerships to propel India’s seafood exports to new heights. It will feature exhibition stalls (325 stalls expected), Reverse Buyer Seller Meet (RBSM), tasting sessions, technical presentations and exposure visits to seafood processing plants and aquaculture farms.

Participation is expected from over 5,000 business delegates from India and abroad. The first edition of SEB (2025) attracted 48 importers from 20 countries, benefiting 130 leading Indian seafood exporters, with over 807 one-to-one business meetings conducted during the RBSM. MPEDA has a proven track record in organising such events, including World Food India (2023, 2024, 2025) and SEB 2025.

MPEDA will extend the following support to the invited seafood importers: Reimbursement of return economy-class airfare (shortest route), up to a maximum of USD 2,000, Star hotel accommodation near the venue, local hospitality, and logistic support during the event days, Free language translator/interpreter support during B2B meetings, Support for pre-planned exposure visits to seafood processing plants and aquaculture farms.
