International Museum Expo 2023  from 18th - 20th May 2023

The Museums Division of the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, is organizing a three-day International Museum Expo 2023  from 18th - 20th May, 2023 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.

2.    The main objectives of International Museum Expo 2023  is are to :Showcase the museums in India along with their hero objects & other art crafts, Educate & sensitive the audiences on Museology, Conservation, Heritage etc., as well as accurate a learning experience for those who wish to develop new museums or upgrade existing ones, and to celebrate the International Museum Day under the theme ''Museums, Sustainability and Well Being'' (Details enclosed). The event will include the following four broad components:
                               - Museum Expo Sessions
                               - Exhibitions & Film Shows
                               - Technical Expo
                               - Conservation Laboratory  

3.    The Museum Expo will also include special highlights including the launch of a Graphic Book on Museums, a Directory of Museums in India, a Handbook on Conservation Practices, Animation films, Films on and Virtual Walkthroughs of Museums, Heritage walks and Projection Light Mapping Shows. Special cultural programs and curated gastronomical experiences will encompass Pan Indian elements.
