National MedTech Expo 2022,            8-10 December 2022

The Department of Pharmaceuticals, Government of India, in association with and Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FICCI), is organising National MedTech Expo 2022, from 8-10 December 2022 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.

2.     The Indian MedTech industry consists of both large multinationals as well as small and medium enterprises (SMEs), with the current market size of $11 bn & a CAGR of 15% over the last 3 years and represents a sunrise sector of the Indian economy. The industry is currently the 4th largest Asian medical devices market after Japan, China, and South Korea and among the top 20 global medical devices markets in the world.  The Medical Device industry is about to begin the ascent of its growth, boosted by the departmental Production Linked Incentive Scheme for Medical Devices, along with the establishment of four “Medical Device Parks” across the country.
 
3.    Major highlights of the event would be as follows: Exhibition showcase of Indian Exhibitors, Indian MSMEs Showcase, Future Pavilion, Innovation & Technology Pavilion, R&D Pavilion, Startup Pavilion, PLI Pavilion, Government Pavilion, States Pavilion, Thematic Conference Sessions, International Buyer- Seller Meet, Start-up Pitching Sessions and Open House with Regulators.

4.     A Buyer Seller Meet with delegations from focused countries of CIS, AFRICA & SAARC region will be organized during the National Medical Expo 2022 event. B2B meetings of Buyers, Manufacturers, Importers, and Investors with the exhibitors to establish business linkages and enhance trade would be arranged during the event.
