Celebration of Makar Sankranti & Rangoli Festival on 14th January 2022
As part of celebrations of “AzadiKaAmritMahotsav” for commemorating and celebrating 75 years of Independent India, Embassy of India, Khartoum in collaboration with Omdurman Indian Community Club celebrated ‘MakarSankranti&Rangoli Festival’ on 14th January 2022 at Omdurman Indian Club, Omdurman.
2. On this occasion, women members of the club made Rangoli on the theme of ‘AzadiKaAmritMahotsav’. The event saw huge participation from the Indian community. Kites were also flown on the occasion. An appreciation letter distributed among the Rangoli participants after the event. Charge de ’Affairs as well as PravasiBharatiyaSamman Awardee and Prominent member of Indian diaspora, Dr. Anil Kumar Mithani addressed the Indian community.
