KHILONA -2022 (India Toys & Games Fair) and India GI Fair-2022

2. A geographical indication (GI) is a sign used on products that have a specific geographical origin and possess qualities or a reputation that are due to that origin. GI tagged products are "Invaluable treasures of Incredible India" and aims to build confidence amongst the buying community. There are around 390+ products tagged as GI in the country out of which 200+ are handicrafts & handlooms and 120 are agricultural based. The Govt. of India and the Ministry of Commerce & Industry has given emphasis on promotion of exports of traditional geographical indications (GI) products from India. 1,074 exhibitors that showcased their products and over two million visitors from over 110 countries and 30 Indian States and UTs visited the 1st India Toy Fair -2021, on virtual platform.
